Consciously Unraveling Your Knot of Anxiety

​Dear Friend,
Anxiety use to be a constant state for me. It felt like I had an energy knot that I just couldn’t untie no matter how hard I tried. Until I made conscious the truth that my anxiety was a symptom of not being present in my body, in the present moment I always felt a deep unease that I could sometimes escape with moving into my head (mind) and looking outside myself to either blame and control life or fix myself. I was literally trying to exit- my body to escape what it was trying to tell me in the present moment.

Quite unexpectedly through consciously connecting to my breathing I realized to initiate physical presence is one of the great benefits of having a physical body, for it only exists in the present moment! By consciously entering it, I simultaneously would bring my awareness into the present moment. Not only is the physical body anchored in the present moment, it contains a precise energy signature of whatever past experiences we have yet not integrated. These records are available as physical “symptoms,” physical manifestations of moments in time that are unintegrated. The discomfort caused by these unintegrated moments was the underlying momentum for my anxiety- and a habitual way of being.

Consciously connecting to my breathing reconnected my awareness to the circuitry of the life current that only flows within the present moment and has the power to transform, integrate and restore the integrity of body, mind and spirit. It is this simple and powerful! Consciously connected breathing is one of the most efficient and accessible means for my deliberate re-entry into the physical body and unraveling my knot of anxiety with the cleansing breath of life.

This is true for all of us!

For every second we consciously connect our breathing, we are deliberately anchoring our awareness in the body, and therefore in the present moment. As simple as this state of being – not doing is, and as normal as it appears, it has profound consequences and makes excellent use of the minds capacity to serve spirit.
