All part of helping a client experience their energetic connection in the web of life! Teaching her how to become sensitive to the vibration of trees, all plant life and enter a sharing full body breath of giving, receiving and giving in the energy of life.
I have been an energy practitioner since I was a toddler, not knowing of course. I was a part of the much-criticized tree hugging generation. I have always found my relationship with tree’s to be grounding, healing and inspirational. I vibrantly remember the first time I experienced a tree reach out and hug me, at a time that I was isolating as a coping mechanism to feeling overwhelmed. The impact was profoundly healing for me. Hugging tree’s was considered a hippie thing to do and now, in a recently published book, Blinded by Science, (www.blindedbyscience.co.uk) the author Matthew Silverstone, proves scientifically that trees improve many health issues such as; mental illnesses, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), concentration levels, reaction times, depression and the ability to alleviate headaches. Countless studies have shown that children show significant psychological and physiological effects in terms of their health and wellbeing when they interact with plants. They demonstrate that children function better cognitively and emotionally in green environments and have more creative play in green areas. So, invite you to go out and hug a tree, and if your sensitive may you receive the blessing in return! Find the path to your best self.

I have an invitation for you! An opportunity for you to look at how you fit into your own life, and how that energetically interconnects with all of life. Each of us has valuable strengths that contribute to the health of the web of life. In this way, we begin to move from a hierarchical model to what I view as a feminine model of honoring our inner wisdom and intuition and to working from a place of cooperation and collaboration to being in service to all of life. It is this wisdom that is most needed in the world now. My own life story is a journey of healing from sadness, confusion and severe depression brought on by childhood trauma; a state of trauma that I hid very well in my drive to succeed and prove my worth to myself and the world. Fit in! I chose early on to follow a spiritual path for my healing. On some deep level I understood that my childhood traumas and, consequently the condition of my life unfolding, were an initiation into the path of the wounded healer and the study of the science of healtheology, muscular therapy, fitness, meditation, shamanism, alchemy, yoga ... and more (I did say I was driven to prove my worth! Ha!). Every practice I share with my clients has been woven into my daily life. These practices have truly been “my healing balm and transformational medicine I offer the world". Through my experiences and the spiritual practices, I share, I have learned how to ride the waves of my ongoing transformational healing, which has led me to full expression in a rich, deep, and meaningful life. My experience has taught me that everything exists as energy... alive with spirit. I am an energy reader, guide and healing practitioner. Healtheologists learn that, at any level of being, each soul has a threefold purpose: to experience, learn and express itself. Shamanic cultures recognize there is a web of life connecting all that is alive. Everything alive is called the spirit that lives in all things. Everything on Earth is interconnected. Any belief that we are separate from other life forms or living beings-such as the Earth, the stars, the moon the sun, the wind-is purely illusion, and it’s the shaman’s role in the community to keep harmony and balance between humankind and the forces of nature. Alchemy is the process by which each of us moves from our primal state of unconsciousness through the various alchemical stages represented by our most elemental experiences, to the realization of full awakening or enlightenment. It is the interactive dance through which we are constantly weaving spirit and matter into the multidimensional tapestry of life. Alchemy is a process that spirals from cycle to cycle, ever upward and forward; repeating itself as required to transform and change us through the experiences of our body, soul, psyche, and spirit. In alchemical terminology it is called the “Opus”, or “Great Work”. The word yoga literally means "union" or "to merge". More than a set of physical postures or exercises, Sadhguru defines yoga as a science to determine the nature of who you are and what you want to be. My life is a practice of direct revelation. And all that I need to learn can be obtained by working with the Earth, Sun, Moon energies interconnectedness with my body, mind and spirit energies, while consciously tapping into the wisdom of my life experiences, inner wisdom and vision. We all have creative gifts that we contribute to the collective. We all can be a presence of love and light that transforms our life, thereby changing the world. It is my intention to share with you my 30-plus years of training, education and experience with the non-physical and physical Source energies. Most of my focus will be in sharing my shamanic and alchemical teachings and understandings, combined with my personal experiences and broader perspective interpretations. I have designed for you a 3-month, experiential path of discovery that will take you on an inner journey, where you will learn how to live as a modern-day shamanic practitioner; finding the path to your best self, embracing a state of joy that bubbles up from within - everyday bringing the wisdom most needed now in our world. Breath is vital to life. I believe Source Energy (Divine, God, Goddess, Universe) inhaled, and then exhaled me into creation on my birth day. This Energy of Creation continues to circulate through every cycle of my inhale-exhale, connecting me to and through all living things. I love consciously taking a deep breath and giving my mind and body a moment to refresh! The many physical benefits of deep breathing include a reduction in stress and blood pressure, strengthening of abdominal and intestinal muscles and relief of general body aches and pains. Deep breathing also promotes better blood flow, releases toxins from the body and aids in healthy sleep. When you want to stay in the excitement phase of lovemaking for as long as possible and enjoy extended orgasmic states, it is your breath, not your genitals that will hold you in the totality of ever-increasing sensation. Sexual energy travels on the breath. The more focused the breathing the more you feel! (This is the subject of my next blog!) In the awareness that we are creators in the breath of life we have the capacity to focus and create our experiences. Whether we know it or not, our mind, through our thoughts (and the emotion connected to those thoughts), is constantly creating for us. If we recognize our oneness with our Source and the connectedness we have with that Spirit, we realize that we are co-creators with Source in the breath of life. In knowing this, we can realize that we create the same way Source creates. Because we are awakening consciousness to this new idea in the creation process, maybe we create on a smaller scale. Realizing that we can create is the first step in visualizing our own reality. Every time we take a breath, we are creating our state of wellbeing with in us and around us. We must look at and appreciate our life experiences, because if we don't, we are just denying our own power of existence - our own creation! Knowing we are the creators and taking responsibility is a turning point in our ability to be deliberate creators of our health, wealth and happiness. With every perceived problem or challenge in life, we have an opportunity to change it. It is my experience that it can be as simple as changing my mind. Although that seems too simplistic, it really is quite powerful. After recognizing the challenge, we have a moment, when we breathe, to change our energy and align with our mental, emotional and physical wellbeing. There is always a chance to shift perspective - to allow for another experience. By taking a breath, it gives the mind and body a moment to refresh. This concept can be used in all areas of your life. You can create harmony and peaceful vibrations in any situation in your life. There is no limit to the manifestations available. Use breath for deepening meditation, expanding consciousness into your Source perspective, increasing intuition, creating harmonious environments, loving relationships and a healthy body and mind. Take a moment right now to notice...your body has been breathing life into and through you, with no effort on your part, the whole time you have been reading this blog post. Now that you have your attention on it, you can begin to participate in its flow. Try this one-minute focusing breath exercise and realize how quickly you can feel better, shift perspective, or receive inspiration! Sit back and relax, close your eyes, and bring all of your attention to your breath. Breathe. Now start participating - inhale filling your abdomen and chest completely - hold your breath at the top for 5 counts- then exhale emptying your chest and abdomen completely - hold your breath at the bottom for 5 seconds. Do this for 5 full cycles - then drop back into your regular pattern of breathing. Open your eyes and note for yourself how you feel. You can do this exercise any time you feel stressed, low on energy, unfocused, anxious, or just want to feel better overall, more grounded, or receive inspiration!
