Inspiration to help you find your own way

Do you compete with or compare yourself to others? Do you look to others to know better than you, what’s best for you? Do you look to tell others what is best for them? Dear Friend, Can you see your unique life flow, your embroidery of the fabric of your life? Have you learned to complement your life? We all have a place within this beautiful embroidery of life; now is the time to know it, enjoy it, express it as our right, being mindful to never overdo it because we feel our role or position is more advanced, or better than others. “Being part of an agenda beyond ourselves liberates us to complement each other rather than compete with each other.” Joseph Stowell Sometimes, when there is a sense of personal or collective emptiness, there is the need to be recognized, which creates attachment to our own talents, role or virtues. For Contentment, we must learn to complement rather than compete. Nature works on the principle of complementarity. This can be seen with the seasons, day and night, the continual cyclical process of birth, growth, maturity, decay, death and rebirth. We are all different, therefore we can appreciate that our personal relationship with life will be different for each of us and expressed in a different way. What we are learning and how we are growing is a very personal spiritual process and is contributing to the evolution of humanity, even if it doesn’t make sense to everyone around us. When we recognize the equal value of all things, then we stop being illogical – comparing, competing, feeling superior or inferior, or striving to be what we are not. “You look at one thing as good, something else as bad. You get attached to what you consider as good. You desperately try to avoid what you consider as bad, and of course that will rule you from inside. This is not the way to be. Seeing everything just the way it is – that is the way to be within. If you see something other than what is there, it means you are contaminating the world with your opinions and prejudices.” Sadhguru A solution to aligning with contentment can be as simple as learning to meditate, develop stress-release techniques, get to know your higher self or understand life through a spiritual perspective. In its simplest definition, 'spirituality' includes a sense of connection to something bigger than us and to have a quality life of supporting values. It is living and applying those values in our interactions with others. It is tapping in deeply to our inner guidance system, even when the outside systems are unstable and unreliable. When we realize our true nature as spiritual beings, we can easily access the safety and stability of our Source Self. By restoring our connection with the Source, we can discover our original state of peace, love, happiness, purity, wisdom and bliss. The path of a Spiritual practice is helpful in regaining our power in the present moment. When we consciously stop the patterns of competing and comparing, we open into the freedom of feeling content. In the spaciousness of contentedness, we can fully engage in deepening connection to our unique and fullest expression, trusting we have a place within this beautiful embroidery of life. So It Is! Living Free of Comparison In this audio, Sadhguru reminds us that trying to be like another human being is a deep insult to the Creator, who has made every human being absolutely unique. https://isha.sadhguru.org/us/en/wisdom/article/living-free-of-comparison How can I best support you?
