Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning, spinning energy wheels. According to ancient yogic traditions, there are seven major chakra’s or energy centers. Most people think they reside in our physical body, but they reside in our energy body or auric field, interpenetrating the physical body. Depending on how open or closed the energy of each center is, there is a change in our physical emotional and spiritual wellbeing.
The sacral chakra, also known as our 2nd chakra spins at our lower abdomen, two inches below the navel. This subtle body of energy governs our emotional issues and sense of abundance, well-being, pleasure, sexuality and creativity. Its color vibrates at orange.
When your sacral chakra is closed:
 you may have difficulty receiving pleasure 
 feel abused, hurt or not trusting that you can be loved
 creatively blocked 
 self-medicate with food, alcohol or shopping ...
 you may have issues with your menstrual cycle, ovaries or with getting pregnant
