'There is nothing so stable as change.” The Allergic Pagan Hello friend, Happy Autumn Equinox! September 23rd, 2019 is the beginning of our Autumn season here in the Northern Hemisphere. I am getting ready to do an Autumn Equinox ritual. The Autumn Equinox is a meaningful time of year to honor your harvest whether that be a real harvest of the things planted in your garden or of the harvest of effort, and internal growth torward your life path intentions set earlier in the year. My own personal growth has been on overdrive this year. When I think back to the issues and limiting beliefs, I was dealing with at the start of the year I’m amazed and grateful at how far I’ve come. The change in seasons are key points in the cycle of life in nature and within this cycle many ancient cultures perceived a powerful deeper message for humanity. Indigenous cultures recognized earth- based wisdom and understood that the four focal points of the year; the Winter Solstice, Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice, and Autumn Equinox, illuminated stages of an inner spiritual journey, a spiritual cycle that the individual takes within themselves. As I have consciously linked my awareness to nature cycles, my understanding of my own cycles has deepened. My seasonal rituals have become a great way to reflect, learn and grow from my passage through days, months and years. When I participate in my own consciousness this way, I develop new skills in awareness that affect every choice I make in life. Below is a simple ritual I’m going to do to assist with letting go of what has been that no longer serves me to open space for all the awesome stuff coming to and through me now! Ritual for the Autumn Equinox This ritual is perfect for releasing the past, clearing negative beliefs, feelings and / or situations in preparation to welcome in the new. Use your intuition to add to and change this ritual as you feel guided to. Have fun staying connected and focused on the subtle energies within and all around you! Supplies:
The Steps: 1. Find a quiet place to do this ritual where you won’t be disturbed. Light the candle and place it next to your bowl of water. 2. Meditate holding your crystal for a few minutes to help clear and release your mind. Contemplate on what’s ready to go. 3. In your journal write down what you want to release from within ad all around you. 4. Place your flowers and herbs into the water. 5. Use your finger and stir the herb water around in a clockwise direction 5 times to generate some energy. 6. State what you want to release out loud 3 times. Fold the paper up and place it into the water. 7. Swirl the water around again with your finger 7 – 9 times. Watch how the paper gets soggier and soggier. 8. Take the bowl and hold it up against your hearts center. When you feel ready, state out loud “I release this” and dump the water out. You can dump the water outside, in the sink or in the bath. 9. Throw the piece of paper away. Discard the herbs in the garden or outside. 10. Express gratitude for the completion. 11. Keep the candle burning for as long as possible, ideally until it burns out naturally. May the blessings be! Barbara Marciniack Path of Empowerment Dear Friend, Your permission only is needed on your Spiritual Path of discovery and liberation! We are always changing, and those who are awake and aware of their subtle shifts and changes have the choice to relax and allow the inner transformation to shape the outer realty. When this happens we often find that our former self-made agreements and decisions have served their purpose and do not align with our new views, needs and desires for expression. This can be very uncomfortable and create discomfort for self and others. You are ultimately responsible for cherishing and valuing your life. The issue of resistance to "adjusting" is in the mind and it's okay to reassess, say no, let go and rise to higher planes of manifested reality where the people, places, and situations exist for your next accelerated growth. Accepting responsibility for your life and relinquishing the stance of victimhood will free your thought patterns and untie the knots of powerless thinking. The more you know about who you are, and the more you are willing to see your life as a significant and purposeful expression of consciousness, the greater the involvement will be. The key to transformation is knowing that nothing is fixed and always in movement. Growth is the outcome whether slow or rapid. It's very necessary to know how to release, be fluid, flowing, flexible and adaptable. Only you know when your mind resists what the body, heart, and spirit have come to accept. Clear and transparent Communication with Source, Self and Other is what's necessary to find the alignment for the changes to serve the liberation of the old and celebration of the new and higher choices and agreements to arise. Your permission only is needed on your Spiritual Path of discovery and liberation! Are you ready to leverage your inherent right to design your life? Are you ready for creative solutions …? … for changing your beliefs … for reclaiming your power … for aligning with optimal potential in any area of your life I have what you’re looking for!! Love, Cheryl Grief is a funny thing; it can completely debilitate us and/or it can completely liberate us.8/19/2019 "Joy lives concealed in grief."
Rumi Dear Friend, I hope you are enjoying the peak of summer energy! We are in the high heats here in AZ, we naturally draw in to stay cool or travel to cooler summer climates near bodies of water. I’ve been turned in more than out, lots of shifts and changes in my world. I’ve had three of my four long-time canine companions’ transition in the last 7 months; Hannah 13, Angel 11 and Makena 12. In June my feline companion went missing for 21 days and returned. Makena my 12-year-old male most recently transitioned, 2 ½ weeks ago. It was the straw that broke my heart open the widest and I spiraled into grief. What was once a family of 7 is now a family of 4. It has been a lot of transformation in my heart and in our home. Grief is a funny thing; it can completely debilitate us and/or it can completely liberate us. For me, grief is my response to a broken bond of belonging. Whether through the loss of my family, a loved one, relationship, business partnership, marriage, a way of life, a job, my youth, a circle of friends, or the path I didn’t take, or a long-held belief, my grief has been a reaction to being “separated from what I have cherished and loved”. I’ve had clients grieve the loss of faith in their religion, unresolved childhood pain, loss of a parent, marriages ending, infidelity, miscarriage, abortion, children leaving home, addiction, a change in health, lifestyle or career change, an absence of the family they never had….and more. Grief is not forever, but it feels like it when you suppress the feeling and keep it under a layer of protection and denial. Unconsciously it can become the foundation from which we create our life, wearing pain like a shroud shadowing our ability to connect to anything else. A constant knot of nervous energy keeps us feeling separated from our peace, ease, happiness, and genuine well-being. In my experience, grief is an expression of healing and setting in motion authentic spiritual alchemy assisting my self-evolution. I’m grateful for my spiritual tools and practices. Through ceremony, ritual, meditation, breathwork, nature, and journaling I allow myself space and grace to feel my grief deeply and source the medicine of the sadness, rage, shame and guilt I felt from my broken bonds of belonging. The sadness, rage, shame, and guilt are themes in the experience of grief not just for me, but for my clients and collective humanity. Throughout my life grief has played an essential role in my coming undone from previous attachments creating a necessary expansion for new beginnings. The journey “through” exposes new conditions within me and it begins to move when I can compassionately see and feel into the experience of grief. Often my tears rise, streaming down my cheeks, riding on awful moans of despair. It is in these moments that my tears and sounds are the healing medicine for deep change within my body and mind. Often current events trigger healing I didn’t even know I needed, it's like finding a soul growth treasure chest laying deep in my body’s cellular memory that I’ve worked so hard to keep closed from earlier experiences in life. This opening creates a perspective shift within my awareness and understanding of a bigger picture. While my grief looks and feels like an expression of suffering it is also serving my clarity and higher self’s acknowledgment of what I value and hold most dear to me. My connection to what is most dear serves as a catalyst to know how to move forward. My knowing is medicine guiding me, reminding of continual eternity and my capacity to create within the web of life. I am feeling much better, clearer and happier than before I was polished and made whole through grief. Something has released in me freeing up my capacity for love. I’m connected to the energy signatures of my companions in the life force that runs through all life seen and unseen. My true belonging! I feel them in the rays of the sun, the flight of a hawk, cardinal at the bird feeder, running water in our creek, breeze on my cheek or a lone young deer that has come up to visit with me. I will meet up with them again on the breath of new puppies to come soon. We will begin again on a new adventure showing ourselves the truth of continual eternity and love never-ending! Are you experiencing grieving? Are you moving through a life transition closing one door and opening another? Have you experienced a sudden loss or life satisfaction change? Do you feel stuck and unable to act? Do you find yourself in repeating patterns of disappointment, sadness or frustration? I can help you to experience the inner transformation you need in order to take the inspired outer action steps toward YOUR well being! Let’s talk! The benefits of journaling differ from person to person. There seem to be, however, general themes that are attractive in the collective unconscious. Many of us, my clients and myself, look to daily entries of personal experiences to gain personal support and inspiration. Here are my 11 Soul Evolutionary Benefits to Keeping a Journal: 💮 Maintaining a journal is a natural way to exercise the brain. When we make regular entries, we’re taking time to develop writing and communication skills that are very valuable in everyday interactions. (Like writing this blog!) This mental exercise also helps our thoughts flow more freely and gain momentum. 💮 Creativity is another benefit to consider. Creativity is an important aspect of journaling. The right hemisphere of the brain is associated with visual, imaginative and intuitive facets of thought. When we take time to write, we free the right hemisphere’s creative mechanism. The ideal entry will be one that puts the inner editor on hold. Thoughts and ideas should flow freely and naturally. 💮 Self-awareness is developed through the uninhibited nature of this form of writing. Most of us often create different faces to meet various circumstances. We tend to recreate in distinct situations, including the work environment, the community and even at home while participating in our intimate relationships. Journaling helps bring self-awareness of our different faces into perspective. 💮 The process of keeping a journal helps us recognize the various aspects of our unique personalities. Growing self-awareness is a powerful force that can lead to even greater benefits in the future. Gaining insight into the Self is among the most important aspects to Self- Evolution. 💮 Our ability to set priorities is another end-result of journaling. Once we get a grasp on thoughts and emotions that are filtered through our personal experience, we begin to gain control of them. The process eventually leads to a greater understanding of what is and what is not important. I personally find this use of journaling very beneficial to my personality! 💮 Our ability to see the past more clearly is another excellent advantage to keeping a journal. The pages of our past can be revisited with a fresh perspective. It can be very surprising how much our understanding of an event changes over a relatively short period of time. My clients often find great moments of epiphany when rethinking and rereading entries. They also become more aware of their own personal growth and achievements. 💮 Journaling is a fantastic problem-solving resource. The approach of using entries to come up with various solutions to challenges is a little different than approaches for self-awareness and growth. We can choose temporary brainstorming techniques that offer viable solutions to problems. 💮 “Variety” is another very supportive value of journaling. We can choose the kind of entries we want to make. Common choices include brainstorming sessions, automatic writing and reflective notes. Personal journal entries can be made upon inspiration, when we first awake or right before falling asleep. I choose to do a combination of these, depending on my focus. 💮 Purge! Many people find it helpful to place negative thoughts and feelings down on paper. Once the negative energy is placed on the page, we are free to let it go! This practice also works well when dealing with anger towards another individual. Purge the negativity and work towards a constructive approach! 💮 Communication with others is another aspect of keeping a journal. Those who work with life coaches can find a wealth of resources for sessions. Journaling can help us tap into our fears and dreams, helping our coach gain insight through entries we choose to share. 💮 Finally, journaling reduces stress! It provides time for us to meditate. The process helps make the positive forces in our lives surface and it helps bring the destructive patterns into light. The result of personal journaling is a new perspective on how we can become Self- Aware and take personal responsibility of many aspects of our lives! Brene Brown Dear Friend, How do I ‘feel’ my connection with Source? By being willing to FEEL ALL MY FEELINGS! This is a revised version from a blog I wrote in February of 2017. I felt is was time to revisit this aspect of our lives. My true feelings are beyond what I was taught and conditioned to think of as ‘feelings’. Now when I am feeling a true feeling it has a palpable sensation of flow, vibration and brilliant light-filled aliveness. Feeling the realness of my emotions is experiencing the presence of my own resonance. There was a time when I did not want to feel. I was afraid of being hurt again. I thought, ‘if I do not feel, I will stop my – pain’. I would avoid my feelings by pushing them away and retreating into my head. My imagination would then be sourced in an unhealthy manner to make up a story, a drama which I believed was real. I would get so caught up in the story and its ‘emotions’ I would think I was ‘feeling’. I was actually in a disempowering emotional state by running narratives that kept me isolated from my truth. This learned strategy served only to move me away from my real feelings and into thinking feelings, with the goal of not actually feeling them. In my pattern of telling a story and thinking my feelings both would persist. I could not find a sense of release and much needed relief – the expansion or opening in which my perceived issue could resolve into greater awareness. For a long time, this pattern caused me – to move away from experiencing my true feelings, while thinking I was feeling them. In my healing process, I learned that thinking feelings instead of truly feeling them recycles in a repetitive pattern. I would think the ‘perception of a feeling’ was the same thing as ‘feeling the feeling’. Instead of feeling, I was only engaging in ideas of things, both negative and positive. In her book, and …, Anamika writes: “When truly feeling we are connecting with the energy of an emotion. Then feelings move through us with relative ease and rapidity. The beautiful energy of real emotion moves, breathes, and is alive. It’s an entirely different sensation than what’s produced by mental ‘emotions’ or drama. Consciously feeling feelings is not terrifying. Even real intense grief, fear, and dread feel good, as does excitement, when we let ourselves feel them. Fear is not bad, and excitement is not good.” For me, when I am not willing to feel my true feelings I contract, shut down, get walled off into a space where I swim in intense overwhelm and dramatically overreact. At the same time, I build barriers and shut out people, places and situations necessary to my well being. I reaffirm with my self-talk, ‘I cannot help how I feel’, only perpetuating my disempowering emotional state. In this pattern, I activate many stress responses in my body – Ugh! – and stress responses in my relationships. Now that I know this, I willingly slow down and take time to drop out of my head into my body and heart, the spaces of true feeling(s), accepting and allowing the feeling to flow.Emotions like fear, anger, and sorrow are natural emotions very different from disempowering emotional states of outrage, depression or anxiety. Every emotion, sensation and true feeling is valuable. There is no order of importance to our feelings. All of them are of equal importance when we allow ourselves to feel them!Feeling my full range of emotions empowers and deepens my connection to Source. To support my experience of ‘feeling’ I make sacred time alone to be with my feelings a priority just as I make it a priority to meditate, exercise, take time in nature or enjoy an evening with a beloved. Are you willing to feel ALL your true feelings? Are you contracted, shut down and walled off from feeling any emotion? Are you feeling disconnected relationally, separated out from feeling love, loved and lovable? Are you swimming in intense overwhelm and dramatically overreacting in an important area of your life? Dear Friend, Do you compare yourself with others? I do, sometimes it's helpful when it inspires growth in me and opens optimal potential within my experiences. However, there is the danger of comparing myself to others in an unhealthy manner and then I find myself slipping into thoughts and feelings of despair. Like a weed, it can quickly become rooted. I begin to spiral out of alignment with my core connection, necessary growth, and path of least resistance to my optimal life. When this happens, it can contribute to feeling anxiety, depression, shame, envy, leading to self-criticism, lack of self-worth and it rapidly undermines my confidence. Does this sound familiar? In the evolutionary framework of survival, having a mental ability to compare our capabilities with others', or to sort out whether we might be acceptable to another social group was necessary for our growth as humans. It makes a lot of sense, especially if the foundation of our decisions are locked into “life or death ” situations. However, in the present times, this outcome from the past can tip from being helpful to our survival to being unhelpful to our daily life. This learned habit to judge ourselves in comparison to others is hardwired in our brain, a prejudice against ourselves that was trained into us since childhood. We pay more attention to what we see as our own weaknesses about us, we compare and measure ourselves negatively. We often then drop into a pattern of despair and stop all forward progression. The more you put your attention on something, the more it tends to show up giving us evidence that what we think is true. When we learn to take a more balanced view and consciously look for and acknowledge the positives about us, receive the compliments when they arrive, lean into the affirming praise, we begin to take on a more balanced perspective about ourselves. We begin to free up our energy and feel better, entering back into "our unique rhythm and flow" with life. When we commit to learning how to manage unhelpful thoughts, we begin to understand our mind is defending its own prejudice against itself. These are simply thoughts and not facts. You can learn to let these go and redirect your focus building a positive prosperous flow to your optimal life experience. One way to shift out of the comparing and despairing cycle and come into a more balanced view is to adopt a mindfulness practice. Try this simple conscious breathing practice ~ 4/7/8 breathing practice to begin shifting your perspective now. Find yourself in a relaxed position Close your eyes Inhale fully On the exhale -> gently place the tip of your tongue on the roof your mouth behind your two front teeth Inhale slowly for 4 counts Hold your breath for 7 counts Exhale slowly for 8 counts Repeat for 4 cycles (no more than 4 cycles in one practice) Click here for a guided MP4 version to help make this a daily practice! Do you want help with shifting your tendency to compare and create spiral despair thoughts and feelings? I would love to help you! For the rest of April through May 15th I’m offering a 60 min intuitive coaching spotlight session to help you let go of your habit to compare and despair. I will assist you in building a new habit that supports growth and positive thinking focused on your optimal life. Your investment $175 https://paypal.me/organicwellness/175 I look forward to connecting with you soon! Love, Cheryl PS ... click here to join me in me in my FREE webinar Introduction to balancing your masculine and feminine energies. Dear Friend,
Your Invited to a FREE Webinar on Wednesday, May 1, 2019!! Introduction to Balancing Your Masculine and Feminine Energies to Align with Your Best Self / Higher Self. Are you overworking your masculine energy? Are you a little "too" in touch with your feminine energy? What does that even mean? These terms have nothing to do with gender. Everyone, whether male or female, is composed of both energies. I often refer to them as "Yin and Yang, a concept used within Taoism." Yin refers to the feminine energies in life, and Yang refers to the masculine energies in life. Giving (doing) is an action of our masculine and receiving (being) is an action of our feminine. A balance of both energies is when we feel harmonious within ourselves. It's simple, yet oddly challenging to achieve. Look at your typical day, you'll probably notice there are times when you are very action-oriented. At other times, you'll notice you're not really doing much of anything, but instead, you're simply being. These two activities - doing and being - are the physical expression of the masculine and feminine energies. One is motion and momentum oriented, the other is stillness and feeling oriented. One is the essence of creating and making energy, providing the spark of life force. The other allows the creation to manifest by holding the fertile space needed for the matter to take form, providing the womb space for living things to grow into being. This is true for both men and women! When it comes to the quality of our intimacy, life success and overall wellbeing, it's essential to ensure you're bringing an equal balance of feminine and masculine energy to your life. Once you learn to harmonize these energies, you will find freedom within you that you have never experienced before. If you:
It may be that your masculine and feminine energy expressions are out of balance. That's why I created a FREE webinar, to help you better understand yourself as an energetic being! Please join me! Marianne Williamson Dear Friend, Today clients and I talked about feeling terrified and tethered to deep shadow conditioning. Feeling terrified is a common theme in my personal evolution and that of my clients. Can you relate? I believe terror is one of the humanities shared core issues. Terror can cause us to expand and create medicine within us OR contract and create poison within us. The poisons "affect" results in the many manifestations of “exclusion”; such as isolation, separation, rejection, depression, shame, humiliation, addiction, violence, disease, prejudices, preferences, and judgement to name a few. Terror is a core feeling that is ignited within us during intense negative childhood trauma (experiences/conditioning with family, community, society, or our ancestral lineage). Often, the root cause for this terror is unconscious and paralyzes us from knowing healthy growth and full expression. The moment of conditioning happened when you were taught to override your natural impulses as a child to remain “safe and secure”. As a result, you learned to defer to your outer world for direction instead of your inner connection as the Source of Life that you are naturally. For some of us, this conditioning began while we were still in the womb. This reoccurring moment of conditioning reinforces a feeling of “separation” from the Source of Love that we are and causes us to contract, recoil in terror. Building walls of protection with layers of stories that we believe will keep us safe from the overwhelming shame and humiliation of our fullest expression-being seen, heard and integral to life. We silently suffer. We settle into a conditioned and familiar way of being telling ourselves its good enough and that we really don’t need any more than what we have already experienced. All the while we are suffering mentally, emotionally, physically and spiritually. Some of us learn to cope with life and others to be continuously overwhelmed by life. This unconscious stance never allows the essential shift within our hearts and mind necessary to make us whole in our Source Energy of Love and Life. To uncoil from the shadows and grip of terror we must consciously pause and feel into the space it resides within us. Become curious about its root cause. Question if we are still living in the same conditions once put upon us. Do we now have the power to choose differently, to trust? Is it possible to use the feeling of terror as usable power to grow us into our fullest potential? We can choose to not feel our feelings and remain stuck, recycling in terror. Or we can choose to feel our feelings, trust and take inspired actions. Even though we feel afraid our personal power allows us to use the intensity of inspired action to liberate us. We remember to trust our natural impulses again and our instincts realign us with Source Energy. When we choose to allow the experiences that caused us to recoil in terror to be medicine for our healing and growth, we align with the love that we are and know our essential offering to humanity. To begin today to alchemize terror’s grip and be set free turn within. Pause, stand where you are, ground into the earth, take a deep breath, and relax into Earth Mother. Place your attention on your breath, consciously breathe, slowing down your breath. Inhale fully for the count of 2, exhale fully for the count of 4. This shifts you from fear (fight and flight condition) to a relaxed, restore and renew condition. You’re opening the space within your mind and nervous system to receive the wisdom of your hearts knowing that all is well now. Stay with your breath and the cradle of the Earth, feel your feelings until they release, and you feel relief within your emotional body. Integrate this release with your breaths inhale and exhale, this rewires your brain and nervous system with the medicine of Love and opens your mind to new possibilities. Are you ready to heal and to learn how to trust in your natural impulses and instincts? Are you ready to fully realign with who you are as Source Energy? Are you ready to stop playing small in your life and live the life that you silently yearn for? I am ready to assist you with making the necessary shifts within yourself that makes what ever is important for you to address possible! Contact me now on 978-378-0506 or cherylbourget@gmail.com.
